About Me

Back in 2007, while working as a marketing coordinator for a multi-location veterinary group, I enrolled in a social media marketing course—just as social media was starting to grow beyond college campuses and into the business world. That course sparked something in me: a passion for helping small business owners not just understand social media, but use it strategically to grow.
Over the years, that passion grew into something bigger.
In 2017, I joined a marketing agency and my skills expanded dramatically. I gained hands-on experience in website design and development, paid search advertising, SEO, and email marketing, but more importantly, I learned how to bring all these elements together into cohesive, results-driven strategies tailored to each unique business.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with businesses of all types: automotive, pest control, dental and medical offices, real estate, e-commerce brands, roofing contractors, B2B services, you name it. Each one taught me something new and made me better at what I do.
In 2025, I launched Root and Rise Marketing to combine everything I’ve learned and create a business that supports others and gives me the flexibility to live life on my terms.
My favorite part of this work? The variety. I love diving into new industries and figuring out how to help each business grow. It keeps me sharp and I’m never bored.
